God of steadfast love, who created us for an eternal destiny; you have shown your power to
heal and give life through the hand of Christ your chosen One. We ask you to raise up what is
dead and heal what is sick in the life of your church, so that all may live in the joy and praise
for which you made us. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” Let us bring before God our failure to live true to the Lord of life. John 6:68, 69
